Hey Pashionistas!
We are just over one week until Pashion Footwear officially launches and you can purchase your own pair of Pashion Footwear heels! To fill you in on all of the work behind the success of Pashion Footwear, we want to give you a little background on what we do and where we do it!
For those of you that don’t know, Pashion Footwear is based in San Luis Obispo, California. Specifically, Pashion Footwear’s office is currently inside the Hot House, located at 872 Higuera Street downtown. What is the Hot House? Good question.
The Hot House is a workspace for Cal Poly start-ups that have made it into the Cal Poly Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) Incubator and Accelerator Programs. The workspace is ideal for college students trying to start their own businesses, as it provides conference rooms for collaboration, white boards for drawing and explaining ideas, and alumnae mentors for assistance and additional resources.
The Hot House website describes its Incubator Program below:
“Our two-year full-time Community Business Incubator includes everything needed for early-stage companies to develop into financially stable, high-growth enterprises by providing the tools, training, and infrastructure that helps facilitate smarter, faster growth. Programming for the Incubator includes mentorship, monthly peer-to-peer roundtable discussions, an advisory board for each startup in the program, participation in Pitch Nights, networking opportunities and exclusive access to various entrepreneurial events in the community. Businesses will be able to utilize all of the SLO Hothouse resources, such as office space, conference rooms, and an invaluable peer network.”

Pashion Footwear was started by its CEO, Haley Pavone, and has now strategically grown into a small group of tight-knit, driven employees that all want to see Pashion Footwear be successful.
